Job Title: Supply Chain Senior Associate / Technician
Job Description
This role supports tactical and operational supply chain activities at a regulated manufacturing site, with a strong focus on production planning, process order execution, warehouse coordination, and material transfer logistics. The Supply Chain Senior Associate / Technician ensures timely and accurate material flow between manufacturing and warehouse operations while maintaining compliance with cGMP standards and internal procedures. The position requires working 12-hour onsite shifts aligned with manufacturing operations and includes weekend work.
Responsibilities

Support the creation, release, and tracking of production process orders in SAP to ensure accurate and timely execution of manufacturing plans.

Coordinate with finite scheduling teams to align production plans with material availability and manufacturing capacity.

Monitor planned orders and adjust them based on real-time constraints, production changes, and operational priorities.

Liaise closely with warehouse teams to ensure timely staging, transfer, and reconciliation of materials required for production.

Assist in managing inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and overseeing material movements using SAP and MES systems, including Production Supply areas.

Act as a primary point of contact between Supply Chain and Manufacturing Services for material transfers, issue resolution, and logistics execution.

Ensure the accuracy of master data related to materials, bills of materials (BOMs), and work-in-process (WIP) records in SAP.

Support system troubleshooting activities and propose improvements for ERP and warehouse systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Contribute to operational readiness workstreams to ensure new or modified processes and systems are fully prepared for implementation.

Identify and support process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, strengthen inventory control, and reduce supply chain risks.

Maintain compliance with cGMP requirements and internal procedures in all supply chain and material management activities.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Services teams to support seamless material flow and production continuity.
Essential Skills
-
12 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, production planning, or warehouse coordination, preferably within a regulated environment.
-
High school diploma or GED with 2 years of work experience, or an associate degree with at least 6 months of work experience, or a bachelor's degree.
-
Proficiency with SAP, including experience with S/4HANA, for production planning, process order management, and inventory control.
-
Experience using MES and other ERP systems to manage production and material data.
-
GMP biotech or pharmaceutical experience, including working within cGMP and FDA-regulated environments.

Hands-on experience with GMP material inventory management, including cycle counts, material movements, and reconciliation.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational setting.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support issue resolution.

Ability to adapt to dynamic production environments and changing priorities.

Willingness and ability to work 100% onsite in 12-hour shifts, including weekends, to align with manufacturing operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations.

2 years of experience specifically in production planning or warehouse coordination in a regulated environment.

Experience with finite scheduling and process order management in a manufacturing setting.

Familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations as they relate to supply chain, materials management, and manufacturing operations.

Prior experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or GMP manufacturing environments.

Ability to support master data accuracy for materials, BOMs, and WIP within SAP.

Experience participating in continuous improvement or operational readiness initiatives.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system and process issues and recommend improvements.
Work Environment
This position operates 100% onsite in a manufacturing and supply chain support role within a regulated biotech/pharmaceutical environment. The role involves direct, daily interaction with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Services teams to support continuous production operations. The environment is fast-paced and operationally focused, requiring close coordination, precise inventory control, and reliable material logistics support. Work is performed in and around manufacturing and warehouse areas, with regular use of SAP, S/4HANA, MES, and other ERP systems to manage production and material flows. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts aligned with manufacturing operations, and candidates must be willing to work weekends as part of the shift pattern.

This is a Contract position based out of Holly Springs, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
