About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a Software Developer to support and enhance internal business applications, databases, dashboards, and AI-powered tools. This individual will work directly with company leadership to maintain existing systems and develop new solutions that improve data accessibility, reporting, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in software development, web technologies, databases, and emerging AI tools. Information for this role was captured in AI Software Developer. Responsibilities

• Support and enhance internal web-based business applications.
• Maintain and improve SQL-based databases and data structures.
• Assist with management and reporting solutions built in Tableau.
• Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems and databases.
• Build and improve front-end user interfaces for internal software tools.
• Support AI-powered business applications and automation initiatives.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems, workflows, and development projects.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to identify and implement technical solutions.
• Assist with cloud-based application deployment and maintenance within AWS environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and reporting issues.

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2-5 years of software development experience.

• Experience with web application development.

• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.

• Experience working with APIs and modern software development practices.

• Knowledge of AI tools, LLMs, or AI-assisted development.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tableau dashboards and reporting.

• Experience working with Viewpoint Vista or other ERP/database platforms.

• Exposure to AI agents, workflow automation, or generative AI applications.

• Experience supporting internal business tools or intranet applications.

• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, React, or similar technologies. Technical Environment

Compensation:

$10-$15/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
