We are seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Financial Digital Transformation Specialist to join the Grid Technologies Service North America team. This role will serve as a key bridge between Finance, Commercial Operations, and Digitalization initiatives, helping to transform how financial and commercial data is managed, analyzed, and leveraged across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with analytical and technology skills to identify process improvement opportunities, develop data-driven solutions, and support the implementation of digital tools that improve efficiency, transparency, and business performance. This position will play a critical role in modernizing financial and commercial processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, improving data quality, and enabling better decision-making across the business.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Partner with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and IT stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable digital solutions. Analyze financial and commercial processes to identify inefficiencies, manual activities, and opportunities for automation and digital transformation.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that provide actionable insights into revenue, margin, cash flow, backlog, forecasting, and operational performance. Lead workshops and working sessions to document current-state processes, identify future-state opportunities, and develop business cases for transformation initiatives.

  • Support the implementation and optimization of digital tools, platforms, and analytics solutions, including SAP, Salesforce, Power BI, Automation/RPA applications, Copilot, and other emerging technologies.

  • Drive improvements in data quality, governance, and master data management to ensure accurate financial and commercial reporting. Conduct financial and operational analyses to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and business improvement initiatives.

  • Create training materials and support change management activities to encourage adoption of new processes, tools, and digital capabilities.

  • Measure and communicate the value realization of transformation initiatives through KPIs, productivity metrics, and financial benefits. Support strategic North America initiatives focused on commercial excellence, operational excellence, and business growth.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, commercial finance, business analytics, process improvement, or digital transformation roles.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and commercial business processes. Experience with SAP and Salesforce platforms.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex data into meaningful business insights. Familiarity with automation and digital technologies, including Power Platform, AI-enabled tools, and workflow automation solutions.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Pivot Tables, formulas, and data modeling. Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI.

  • Experience leading process improvement, change management, or digital transformation initiatives is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across regional and global teams.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
