Sr. Accountant / Auditor

Valvole America LLC seeks Sr. Accountant / Auditor for Medina, OH to perform the following duties: Responsible for company's accounting and auditing operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with the parent company in Italy and the ability to support cross-border financial reporting, auditing, and compliance activities, including transfer pricing and management control. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Maintain general ledger accounts and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations. Ensure compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Prepare documentation for external audits and coordinate with auditors. Perform internal auditing, management control, and financial risk assessments. Assist with federal, state, and local tax filings and regulatory reporting, including transfer pricing compliance. Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to accounting and auditing procedures. Oversee payroll accounting and related financial reporting. Support management with cost analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting. Coordinate financial reporting requirements with the Italian parent company. Convert and reconcile financial information between U.S. accounting standards and Italian accounting standards. Liaise with headquarters personnel in Italy to ensure compliance with corporate procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field. Requires at least one year of experience in accounting, including: Preparation of financial statements; General ledger management and reconciliations; Preparation of tax return filings (VAT and income tax); Journal entries; Italian accounting principles and financial reporting standards (OIC); Internal controls, auditing, and compliance; Audit support activities; Management control activities; Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
