Specialty Laboratory Technologist (Evening Shift)

Perform technical procedures in chemistry and/or hematology including, but not limited to, coagulation and urinalysis. Perform periodic, scheduled and as needed maintenance on instrumentation and equipment. Maintain documentation including remedial actions for problems encountered. Perform clinical, technical, service and administrative tasks as needed. Perform quality control and calibration procedures; verify same in laboratory information system. Review critical test results by repeat analysis if necessary. Resolve instrument related problems. Perform other projects/duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science or Biological Sciences. Must be licensed in New York State as Clinical Laboratory Technologist (may be restricted to Molecular Diagnosis/Genetic Testing).
