Job Title: Coil Winder Job Description

Join our team as a Coil Winder, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and winding copper wires on rotors using hand tools. This position demands high power and torque density and requires the ability to troubleshoot mechanical products effectively. You will ensure that components are lightweight, frameless, and cogless, while checking power density, torque density, mechanical flexibility, precision movement, smoothness, and efficiency. Additionally, you will glue magnets to rotors and perform in-process inspections, with occasional assistance in the stockroom inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wind copper wires on rotors using hand tools.

• Troubleshoot mechanical products and ensure components meet specified criteria.

• Glue magnets to rotors and allow them to air dry.

• Conduct in-process inspections to maintain quality standards.

• Assist in stockroom inventory management as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with assembly and mechanical processes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of mechanical experience.

• High School diploma or GED.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
