Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a People Operations Manager for a leading healthcare-focused organization. This consultant will serve as a strategic and hands-on People Operations leader responsible for evaluating existing HR processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and leading high-impact initiatives from concept through implementation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of People Operations expertise, project leadership experience, business-case development skills, and Workday functional knowledge. This person will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, ERP, and executive stakeholders to optimize operations, improve employee experiences, and drive meaningful organizational change. Success in this role requires someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, challenging outdated practices, and developing data-driven recommendations that influence senior leadership decisions.

Day-to-Day:

  • Lead People Operations and HR transformation initiatives
  • Evaluate current HR processes and identify operational inefficiencies
  • Build business cases and executive proposals for improvement initiatives
  • Own projects from discovery through implementation
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, ERP, and business leaders
  • Assess and optimize Workday utilization and functionality
  • Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Support onboarding, manager training, and employee lifecycle initiatives
  • Evaluate change impacts, risks, and implementation requirements
  • Present recommendations to HR executives, Chief of Staff, and executive leadership
  • Drive project execution in fast-paced and evolving environments
  • Support strategic People Operations projects and organizational priorities

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR, People Operations, HR Transformation, or HR Project Leadership experience
  • Strong end-to-end project leadership experience
  • Broad understanding of HR functions and operational workflows
  • Hands-on Workday experience from a business, functional, analyst, or project perspective for optimization
  • Experience evaluating downstream impacts across HR, Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, ERP, and related teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to challenge existing processes and drive organizational change
  • Experience presenting to C-Level Executives on why changes are necessary
  • 10-12+ years of related experience
  • Heavy analytical and data-driven decision-making experience
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • HR transformation or management consulting background
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed workforces
  • Multisite organization experience
