Job overview Xtreme Services is seeking a painting apprentice to join our growing industrial, commercial, and residential construction team. We are looking for an experienced coatings professional who takes pride in safe preparation, precise application, and durable, specification-compliant finishes. # Position Details Employment Type: Full-time Location: Goodrich, Michigan, with travel to customer and project sites as assigned Schedule: Varies by project; overtime, weekends, shutdown work, and out-of-town travel may be required Compensation: $20+/HR Based on experience, credentials, and demonstrated capability. Benefits: Blue Cross Blue Shield medical, dental, vision coverage with select plans being covered 100% by Xtreme; Paid time off and holiday pay; and other benefits to be reviewed during interview process. # What You'll Do · Interpret coating schedules, specifications, product data sheets, safety data sheets, and manufacturer instructions. · Prepare steel, concrete, masonry, drywall, wood, and other substrates using approved cleaning and profiling methods. · Mix and apply primers, epoxies, urethanes, enamels, sealers, and specialty coatings within product requirements. · Use brush, roller, conventional spray, airless spray, and other authorized equipment safely and effectively. · Protect work areas and control ventilation, containment, overspray, contamination, and waste. · Verify ambient conditions, recoat windows, film thickness, coverage, color, appearance, and completed-work quality. # Why Join Xtreme Services · Work with a growing turnkey industrial contractor across multiple skilled trades. · Varied shop and field projects with opportunities to expand skills and responsibility. · Competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, and assignment.
