This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13684702 Civil - Senior Engineering Technician - Substation Projects Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams within the Technology, Commercial & Industrial Market Sector, supporting Grid Solutions projects such as Substation and Overhead Transmission Line, while building critical civil infrastructure for todays and tomorrows challenges. Civil Engineering Technicians contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of site development, including grading and drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities for these advanced industrial and commercial facilities. Functioning in a lead technician capacity, this position performs technical tasks requiring advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, with a focus on creating and modifying site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts using advanced techniques in industry-standard design tools such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology required Typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience.
