Job Description

We are seeking detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to join a growing medical device manufacturing team in Kearny Mesa . This entry-level role involves inspecting small components, performing quality checks under a microscope, and ensuring products meet company and customer specifications in a clean-room environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of medical device components and finished products.

• Work under a microscope for extended periods throughout the shift.

• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.

• Review work orders, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance.

• Document inspection results accurately in Excel and quality systems.

• Identify and segregate non-conforming products.

• Support quality audits, safety programs, and 5S initiatives.

• Assist with packaging and other quality-related tasks as needed.

• Cross-train in additional inspection and production functions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Entry-level candidates welcome; manufacturing or inspection experience is a plus.

• Comfortable working under a microscope for long periods.

• Experience using calipers, micrometers, or other inspection tools preferred.

• Basic computer skills, including Excel and data entry.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.

• Ability to follow procedures and work in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience

• Medical device, semiconductor, electronics, or precision manufacturing experience.

• Clean-room manufacturing experience.

• Quality inspection or quality assurance experinced.

• Experience reading blueprints or mechanical drawings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.75/hr.
