Pay Range: $18-$22/hr

Overview

We are seeking experienced and dependable Concrete Workers for commercial and civil construction projects in the Belleair, FL area. Candidates should have hands-on experience with concrete preparation, formwork, rebar installation, and general site construction activities. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including retaining walls, foundations, sidewalks, slabs, and other structural concrete applications.

The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, hardworking, and capable of working in a fast-paced construction environment. Applicants should be comfortable reading plans, performing physically demanding work, and collaborating with crew members to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to quality standards. Individuals with experience in rodbusting, form setting, and concrete placement are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform rodbusting and rebar installation for concrete structures

• Tie rebar according to project specifications and engineering plans

• Assemble, install, and remove concrete forms

• Stack, position, and secure steel form systems

• Build and install retaining wall formwork

• Install form pins, braces, and supports

• Read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and grade stakes

• Assist with site layout and material staging

• Prepare subgrades and forms for concrete placement

• Assist with pouring, placing, and finishing concrete

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Measure and cut materials to project specifications

• Operate construction equipment when qualified

• Maintain a safe and organized work area

• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines

• Load, unload, and move construction materials throughout the jobsite

• Perform demolition and site preparation as needed

• Assist with concrete patching, repairs, and finishing work

• Communicate effectively with foremen and crew members

• Complete daily tasks while maintaining productivity and quality standards

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of concrete construction experience

• Rebar tying and rodbusting experience

• Formwork and retaining wall experience

• Ability to read construction drawings and layouts

• Knowledge of concrete placement procedures

• Familiarity with construction hand and power tools

• Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Reliable transportation

• Valid identification and authorization to work
