PHY Family Medicine

Your future role at a glance

• Outpatient primary care delivery full-spectrum family medicine for adults and children including routine check ups, preventive health screenings, and management of chronic medical conditions.

• This position is located in a Medically Underserved Area.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.

• Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

• Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.

• Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements. Appeals all denials in a timely manner.

• Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• Physician MD/DO obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
