Description

MISO is hiring a Change Management Advisor (Cybersecurity) to support program management, organizational change initiatives, and the successful delivery of key security projects. As a trusted advisor, you will provide insight, actionable recommendations, and serve as a sounding board for new ideas and approaches. With several security initiatives impacting teams across the organization, you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening communication, coordination, and overall governance. You will help reduce friction among stakeholders, support third‑party risk processes, and ensure security policies and controls are clearly communicated and adopted. Ultimately, you will ensure that day‑to‑day actions align with broader strategic objectives, increasing the clarity and impact of our cybersecurity efforts.

What you’ll do as our Change Management Advisor (Cybersecurity) :

  • Develop and execute organizational change management strategies to support adoption of new security processes and technologies.

  • Design and implement communication plans that drive stakeholder alignment, transparency, and engagement throughout project lifecycles.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor by providing expert insight, creative problem‑solving, and guidance on cybersecurity communication and collaboration challenges.

  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to ensure effective delivery, reduce friction, and achieve key project milestones.

  • Act as a trusted partner and thought resource, helping refine ideas and support continuous improvement across security programs.

  • Manage administrative and operational tasks for cybersecurity initiatives, including scheduling, documentation, reporting, and tracking progress against plans of action and milestones.

Skills needed for our Change Management Advisor (Cybersecurity):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field required.

  • A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience required.

  • Strong organizational change management skills, with the ability to drive adoption of new security processes and technologies.

  • Demonstrated experience in program management and project delivery within cybersecurity or technology environments.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to connect day‑to‑day actions to broader organizational goals and prioritize accordingly.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and create win‑win solutions.

  • Proven ability to independently track, prioritize, and manage multiple projects while maintaining momentum.

  • Proactive, self‑motivated problem solver who focuses on addressing underlying issues rather than simply completing tasks

  • High attention to detail and ability to consistently produce polished, final‑quality work.

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
