Full job description

This role serves as a key resource for benefits programs, leave of absence management, regulatory compliance, and employee support, requiring strong knowledge of Puerto Rico benefits and leave regulations, accurate documentation practices, and day-to-day operational execution.

What You Will Do

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, retirement, wellness, incentive, and bonus-related plans.

  • Manage leave of absence cases from intake through resolution, ensuring compliance with Puerto Rico labor regulations and applicable leave requirements.

  • Evaluate eligibility, documentation, and supporting records related to benefits and leave requests.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding benefits coverage, leave status, payroll-related impacts, and program administration.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, documentation, and electronic files in HR systems.

  • Review benefits and leave data, perform calculations, validate information, and support reporting and HR metrics.

  • Partner with external vendors, insurance providers, and government agencies regarding benefits administration and compliance matters.

  • Support benefits and leave operations for multiple manufacturing sites and participate in process improvement activities to enhance service quality and compliance.

What You Will Need

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of professional work experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in benefits administration, leave of absence management, or a closely related HR specialization.

  • Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs in Puerto Rico, including applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, HR information systems, and employee data management.

  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).

Preferred

  • Experience supporting employee populations in a manufacturing environment.

  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).

Puerto Rico : 77.700,00 - 129.500,00 USD Annual
