This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13684756 Civil Drafter - APG (Advanced Power Generation) Successful candidate must live within 50 miles of the office located in Overland Park, KS Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams within the Power Providers Market Sector, supporting Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects and building critical infrastructure for todays and tomorrows challenges. Civil professionals contribute to site development efforts, including grading and drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities. Civil Drafter plays a key role in supporting the development of high-quality engineering deliverables for these complex infrastructure projects. Under general supervision, this position performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with a focus on creating and modifying site development plans using industry-standard design tools, such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, and Bentley OpenPlant Modeler. Supports engineering teams under general supervision. Performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Uses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling). Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables. Education: Diploma or Certificate required. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred. Minimum Qualifications Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
