COMPANY WIDE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support and follow Balco, Inc.s Quality Policy - Follow all applicable Procedures and Work Instructions - Initiate preventative and corrective actions for problems with product or processes - Demonstrate company values - Follow all safety rules and regulations as directed by Balco - Any other assignments, duties or responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor or Executive Management Job Responsibilities: - Lead business activities and manage staff for assigned areas. - Hire, train, and evaluate employee performance; ensure effective communication and teamwork among employees; regularly meet with direct reports to ensure alignment with business goals - Lead safety initiatives and training; implement and enforce safety policies and procedures; advise the business on health and safety issues; inspect work areas to ensure safety; investigate safety incidents and near misses - Drive quality and continuous improvement activities for Manufacturing - Effectively communicate key production metrics {=html} - Any other assignments, duties or responsibilities as directed by Management.
