Bywood Elementary - MTSS Tutor - (August 2026)

MTSS Tutors are needed for Bywood Elementary School 10 month Part-time position; $38.63 per hour up to 700 hours per school year **** The MTSS Interventionist will provide direct intervention for students who need support in reading. You will be responsible for assisting with the development of a systematic school-wide approach to MTSS. Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of academic interventions for students in need of support towards meeting course standards. 2. Uses data to identify students for Tier 2 or 3 intervention support. 3. Delivers research-based strategies and techniques to support students individually or in small groups. 4. Assist teachers and instructional staff in addressing student learning using the MTSS framework; provide guidance on strategies, tools, and techniques to effectively teach all students. Requirements: 1. BA/BS degree 2. Valid state certification 3. Knowledge of the MTSS model and how to implement interventions 4. Knowledge of current research on academic interventions 5. Experience working with and developing programs for diverse groups of students 6.
