Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an IT Support Specialist for a top consumer products manufacturing client. This individual will provide Tier 1 technical support in a mixed Windows and macOS environment, supporting end users across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, and collaboration technologies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on troubleshooter with strong customer service skills who can independently resolve technical issues while adhering to established support and security standards. Responsibilities include incident management, device deployment, onboarding and offboarding support, asset management, conference room technology support, and endpoint lifecycle administration. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment, collaborate with both local and global IT teams, and contribute to ongoing technology improvement initiatives while delivering an exceptional end-user experience. This is a 12 month contract, 5 day onsite in Stamford, CT at a rate of $25/hr

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of hands-on technical support experience in a corporate environment

  • Experience supporting both Windows and Mac environments

  • Windows Preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and current macOS versions

  • Microsoft 365 application and collaboration tool support

  • Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems for incident and request management

  • Ivanti Preferred

  • Endpoint management, software deployment, patching, and remote support experience

  • Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID experience

  • User account administration, password resets, permissions, and MFA support

  • Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Plusses:

  • Experience with Microsoft Intune

  • Experience with Jamf

  • Experience with Ivanti Service Management or Ivanti Neurons

  • Apple, Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL, or related certifications

  • Experience supporting conference room and video conferencing technologies

  • Experience supporting users across multiple offices or global environments

  • PowerShell, shell scripting, or automation experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
