Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Field Technician to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:

In this role, you will perform AFFF cleanout of fire-fighting systems and vehicles and manage water treatment using state-of-the-art technology.

This position requires skills and experience associated with the wastewater treatment industry and will involve manual labor, heavy lifting, heavy travel, and overtime.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
-
High School diploma, or equivalent, and typically 4+ years of related work experience, or a Associate's Degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience.
-
Completion of a 40-hour OSHA training course (with an annual 8-hour update) is required for industrial or hazardous wastewater operations.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
-
Have experience with operation of remedial systems, particularly water treatment systems (flocculation, fluid circulation systems, etc.).

Experience with fire suppression systems (either fixed or mobile systems) is a plus.

Have experience with the collection and management of environmental samples for laboratory analysis.

Be an effective communicator verbally and in writing. You must be able to write and edit plans, reports and procedures, and work within the MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Salary Range: $19.86 - $34.76
