We're seeking an experienced Packaging Lead to oversee daily packaging operations in a clean, GMP-compliant manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading a team of Packaging Associates, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring production goals are met.

Shift Options

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Packaging Associates during daily operations.

• Assign work and monitor productivity to meet production goals.

• Train employees on packaging procedures, safety practices, and GMP requirements.

• Verify labels, materials, lot numbers, and product specifications.

• Perform line clearances, startup checks, and quality inspections.

• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.

• Troubleshoot minor equipment and process issues.

• Promote a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.

• Support employee development and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Lead, Team Lead, Line Lead, or Supervisor in manufacturing or packaging.

• Packaging, production, assembly, food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or GMP experience preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

• Experience with production documentation and quality procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a clean, GMP-compliant manufacturing facility. Employees wear required PPE, including hairnets, masks, gloves, and booties, while working in production areas. The environment is team-oriented, safety-focused, and dedicated to producing high-quality products.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
