Full job description

Employment Type: Full timeShift: Day Shift Description: Lab Technical Assistant, Fulltime, Dayshift, in the St Mary's Hospital Histology Department, Athens, GAWhat you will do:

  • The primary duty of the Technical Lab Assistant is to assist Technical Staff in any histo preparation work that they have been properly trained and competent in performing.
  • Assist the hostology secretary by receiving, processing, and shipping specimens for consult.
  • Filing and additional clerical duties

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, Science degree preferred
  • Previous Lab Experience is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
