Job Description

We are seeking a confident and detail-oriented Junior Safety Specialist to support our high-volume manufacturing and installation environment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring contractor/vendor safety compliance, performing site inspections, and enforcing safety standards during tool installations and other high-hazard work. Semiconductor experience is not required — but a solid background in safety, OSHA standards, and on-the-floor safety oversight is essential.

Skills and Requirements

  • 1–3 years of safety experience in manufacturing, construction, energy, or other high‑risk environments
  • Hands-on experience conducting on-the-floor safety inspections
  • Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations
  • Working knowledge of Fire Code
  • Ability to follow and execute detailed safety checklists
  • Experience identifying unsafe conditions and stopping work when required
  • Willingness and ability to work in fab and sub‑fab environments
  • Preferred Bachelors
  • OSHA 30 (Construction or General Industry)
  • First Aid / CPR certification
  • Confined Space training
  • Fall Protection training
  • Semiconductor or high‑volume manufacturing environment experience
  • Experience enforcing safety requirements during tool installations or high‑hazard work
  • Familiarity with lockout/tagout processes
  • Doing work where there is potential to be exposed to hazardous energy
  • Shut off breaker and then work on the equipment
