Description
Summary:
Responsible for commercial credit administration and service functions through the design, development and implementation of various processes and operations. Responsible for commercial credit approval process, pricing, portfolio management and scorecard. Manages the development and implementation of reporting standards and tools utilizing objective performance results. Provides guidance on products including competitive intelligence, staying abreast of industry trends, products and technology. Researches and uncovers best practices in C&I and partners with Commercial colleagues to implement them. Streamlines C&I loan processes, including exploring and implementing improved technology. Ensures consistency in pricing and collaborates with the corporate credit approval areas to ensure credit policies are a good fit for our credit culture and are competitive. Interfaces with Loan Review and Credit Risk Management.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the administration of commercial credit activities ensuring compliance with loan policies and regulations.

Oversee credit analysis and underwriting processes.

Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.

Supervise credit staff and provide guidance on credit structuring and negotiation.

Monitor loan portfolio quality and profitability.

Prepare credit reports for senior management.

Establish and maintain strong client relationships.

Collaborate with other departments to address credit issues.

Implement risk management strategies.

Conduct portfolio reviews and recommend policy changes.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Develop and lead training programs for credit staff.

Stay updated on industry best practices.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation Range:
$125,000.00 - 255,000.00 Annual Salary
The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
