Instructional Systems Designer
Location: Lincoln Park, MI Fully Onsite
Pay Rate: $41.25/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer to design and develop technical training solutions for our organization. This role involves conducting thorough individual and organizational performance assessments to identify the best solutions for improving business outcomes. The ideal candidate will employ specific instructional strategies, utilize diverse research methods, and work effectively with teams of subject matter experts (SMEs) and management.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth assessments and diagnostics to address individual and organizational performance needs.

Design, develop, and implement learning solutions and evaluation methods aligned with business objectives.

Apply a range of instructional strategies and research methods.

Collaborate closely with SMEs and management to ensure training effectiveness.

Partner with skilled trades SMEs to design, develop, and implement technical training programs.
Skills Required:

Instructional Design (advanced proficiency)

Graphic Design
Experience Required:

Minimum 10 years of design and development experience in a corporate environment.

Extensive consulting and needs assessment experience.
Experience Preferred:
- Instructional Design for virtual and graphic mediums, including written and video content.
Education Required:
- Certification Program in Instructional Design or related field
Education Preferred:
- Additional relevant certifications or safety training
Additional Requirements:
- Any applicable licensing, safety training, and/or personal protection requirements
