Full job description
Controls Implementation Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Support, design, commission, and sustain automated manufacturing systems across Powertrain and Vehicle Operations. Hand-on experience with PLC-based control systems, industrial robotics, vision systems, quality systems, and manufacturing data platforms, as well as the ability to work across legacy and new installations in a fast-paced production environment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineering, quality, IT/OT, vendors, and operations. Domestic Travel Required up to 50%.
