Full job description
About the Role We're hiring a senior, hands-on marketer to build and run Cents' pipeline engine:
• Run account-based marketing for our named, high-value accounts
• Scale growth to reach new laundromat and dry-cleaning operators efficiently
This is a player-coach IC role. You'll set the strategy, build the systems and own the KPIs. You'll direct a paid-ads contractor and mentor and coach a field and partner marketing professional. You'll also work day to day with our Marketing Ops Associate. You're someone who brings structure to a broad scope and makes our pipeline predictable and measurable.
This role is open to candidates based anywhere in the US, though we have a preference for those in the New York City metro area.
What You'll Own
Pipeline Strategy: Build and own the annual and quarterly pipeline plan across ABM, scaled acquisition programs, covering targets, channel mix, budget and forecast in partnership with the VP of Marketing, RevOps and Sales leadership. Report performance against targets to leadership on a regular cadence.
Account-Based Marketing: Launch Cents' first ABM program for mid-market and enterprise accounts. Work with Sales to agree on the target list and tiers. Build separate playbooks for each segment, combining personalized outreach, targeted ads, and set clear rules for how Sales follows up. Run deeper, custom plays for a focused set of top-tier accounts. Support account owners on account plans and key open deals. Partner with RevOps on onboarding the right technology and automation vendors.
Scaled Acquisition: Build always-on acquisition programs aimed at SMB laundromat and dry-cleaning operators care operators across channels. Test, learn and scale continuously: run structured experiments and double down on what works.
Website Optimization: Own the conversion testing roadmap for our highest-impact pages: paid and campaign landing pages, and the demo and signup flows. Set test priorities, write the hypotheses and briefs, and tie results to the pipeline. Work with Product Marketing and our design and web contractors, who build the pages. Partner with the Marketing Ops Associate to keep tracking and analytics trustworthy.
Build Systems: Partner with the Marketing Ops Associate on campaign infrastructure, lead routing, scoring, attribution and dashboards, so every program is measurable and repeatable.
Create scalable playbooks and "programs in a box" that Sales, field and partner teams can run. Use AI tools to scale the team's output, such as account research, personalizing outreach, and building reports.
How You'll Be Measured
• Primary: Marketing-sourced pipeline ($) and qualified opportunities created
• Supporting:
• Target account conversion: % of named accounts engaged, meetings set, and opportunities created, final conversion
• Efficiency: CAC, ROAS, and cost per opportunity across paid and scaled programs
• Website conversion: visitor-to-lead and lead-to-demo rates, and lift from testing
What We're Looking For
• 8+ years in B2B demand generation, ABM or growth marketing, ideally at SaaS, fintech or vertical software companies
• A track record of creating and running ABM programs that built and sped up pipeline with named, high-value mid-market accounts
• Experience building scaled acquisition for an SMB audience, from nurture through expansion
• Hands-on website CRO experience: A/B testing, landing page strategy and funnel analysis
• Strong analytical skills: comfortable with funnel math, attribution, budget modeling and dashboards (Looker or similar a plus)
• A systems builder who has set up processes, KPIs and reporting from the ground up
• Experience managing contractors and coaching marketers
• Hands-on proficiency with HubSpot, Salesforce and paid media platforms (Google, Meta) and AEO
• Excellent communication; able to present plans and results
• You do not need experience in the laundry industry. We will help you get that context.
