Standard Job Description

This position is for the AMMM Planning Associate Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high performing team of represented planners and salary manufacturing engineer/pre-planners in support of Marietta Programs, to include but not limited to AMMM (C-130, C-5, P-3), F-16, F-22. Management responsibility will focus on executing contractual performance, cost and schedule, including technical oversight of planning efforts. This role will require cross-functional coordination to drive change management processes to program requiremtents.This position may require occasional travel and extended hour support.

Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with Manufacturing Planning processes and procedures.

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse, cross‑functional teams.

  • Aircraft functional knowledge (structures, electrical, assembly, fabrication, and systems) - primarily with the C‑130, with added experience on the F‑22, F-35, and F‑16 considered a plus.

Desired Skills

  • Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (CAPP, SFM, Capital, 3DX, Apriso) and Enterprise Resource Planning systems (SAP).

  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal. Ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Proven track record of continuous improvement, driving process improvements, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Able to evaluate engineering change proposals and manufacturing process changes, assess their effect on manufacturability, cost, schedule, quality, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize production readiness.

  • Experience in managing budgets, staffing, quality, and schedules.

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM related discipline.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
