Description About Us At Gifthealth, we're revolutionizing the way people experience healthcare by simplifying the process of managing prescriptions and health services. Our mission is to provide a seamless, personalized, and efficient healthcare experience for all our customers. We're a dynamic, innovative, and customer-centric company dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives.

Position Summary The Senior Manager, Clinical Alliances is a pivotal commercial marketing role responsible for placing Gifthealth at the center of the professional and clinical communities that shape specialty care. This person will own our professional society portfolio, forge and nurture strategic relationships with clinical associations and patient advocacy groups, and build a sponsorship strategy that turns every investment into measurable commercial value. This is a high-visibility, high-impact position for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and relationship building, is deeply connected to the specialty pharmacy and life sciences landscape, and knows how to turn a society membership or sponsorship into a business development engine.

Key Responsibilities Professional Society Strategy & Relationships

  • Build a strategic society portfolio. Identify and prioritize membership, sponsorship, and thought leadership opportunities with professional societies, associations, and clinical organizations relevant to our manufacturer, prescriber, and payer audiences.
  • Own society relationships. Serve as the primary point of contact for key society partners. Develop multi-year engagement plans that go beyond logo placement to include advisory board participation, speaking opportunities, and co-created content.
  • Activate clinical and advocacy networks. Partner with patient advocacy groups and clinical societies to deepen Gifthealth's credibility and awareness within specialty communities.
  • Represent Gifthealth externally. Act as a trusted, senior voice for Gifthealth with society executives, board members, and volunteer leaders.

Sponsorship Strategy & Activation

  • Own the sponsorship roadmap. Evaluate, prioritize, and negotiate sponsorship packages, balancing high-value opportunities such as product theaters, panel discussions, and sponsored dinners with exhibits and general presence.
  • Develop positioning and activation plans. Create messaging and engagement plans for each sponsorship that generate leads, deepen relationships, and advance commercial goals.
  • Coordinate across teams. Partner with Marketing, Sales Operations, and Client Success on staffing, pre-event outreach, on-site programming, and post-event follow-up.
  • Manage budgets and contracts. Steward the sponsorship budget, negotiate terms, and ensure every commitment is delivered and fully leveraged.

Commercial Impact & Measurement

  • Translate relationships into commercial value. Connect society engagement to measurable pipeline and market access outcomes.
  • Measure and optimize. Track KPIs such as meetings booked, pipeline influenced, and brand sentiment, and report partnership ROI to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
  • Amplify with media. Work with the media and content teams to extend the reach of society and sponsorship programs through pre-event awareness, on-site amplification, and post-event nurture.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, healthcare marketing, partnerships, or industry engagement, with direct ownership of sponsorship or society programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing professional society, association, or partnership relationships within healthcare, life sciences, or specialty pharmacy.
  • Proven ability to negotiate sponsorship agreements and manage budgets.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs, partners, and timelines.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder, comfortable representing Gifthealth in front of senior external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (CRM, marketing automation, project management platforms).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, manufacturer services, or hub services marketing.
  • Existing relationships within relevant societies and associations (for example APhA, ASCO, AGA, AACE, NORD, AMCP) or manufacturer medical affairs communities such as PhRMA.
  • Experience partnering with patient advocacy organizations.
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies applied to society and event contexts.

Desired Attributes

  • The ideal candidate does not just manage memberships and sponsorships. They turn them into strategic moments. They know which societies matter, which conversations open doors, and how to leave every engagement with follow-up already in motion. They have built society relationships that created access no one else had, and they know how to tie every sponsorship dollar directly to business outcomes. They are organized enough to manage a full portfolio of partners and creative enough to make each one feel like a debut.

Work Environment

  • Location: Remote.
  • Schedule: Full-time; standard business hours.
  • Occasional business travel for client meetings or site visits.
  • Regular meetings with the VP of Marketing, the Commercial team, and cross-functional partners in pharmacy operations, patient experience, and supply chain to ensure alignment.

Key Essential Functions

  • Must be able to sit or work at a computer workstation for extended periods while building decks, dashboards, and reports
  • Must be able to travel occasionally for client meetings or site visits.
  • Must be able to prepare polished, accurate client-facing materials under recurring reporting deadlines.
  • Must be able to work remotely, with reliable connectivity to support client meetings and cross-functional collaboration.
