We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Counter Supervisor to lead and actively participate in the daily operations of our plumbing and HVAC parts counter. This role combines strong leadership with advanced product knowledge and a consultative sales approach. The Counter Supervisor ensures exceptional customer experiences, drives sales performance, and fosters a high-performing team culture—while working alongside the team to assist customers and process transactions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can coach, motivate, and support team members while aligning counter operations with company sales strategies.

Position Details: Location | Onsite West Palm Beach, Fl Schedule | Monday to Friday 7:00AM TO 4:OOPM with a rotating Saturday shift 7:00AM to 12:00PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily counter operations, ensuring efficient workflow and outstanding customer service.
• Actively assist customers at the counter, on the phone, and via email, providing expert guidance and recommending solutions.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently through the POS system while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Coach and mentor Counter Sales Associates and Senior Counter Sales Associates to strengthen product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement skills.
• Drive sales growth by monitoring performance, setting goals, and implementing strategies for upselling, cross-selling, and promoting strategic products.
• Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Branch Management and Outside Sales to execute local sales initiatives and achieve revenue targets.
• Manage staffing needs, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate inventory control, oversee cycle counts, and ensure timely processing of special orders.
• Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Stay current on industry trends and new product offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in counter sales, customer service, or related industry; plumbing/HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive sales performance.
• Advanced product knowledge and consultative selling skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Digital literacy and ability to analyze sales and inventory data.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Pay Range:

$24.86 - $37.31- Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
