Description
Stony Brook University has a unique three-year opportunity in mathematics available with a start date of September 1, 2027. This is a non-tenure track appointment offering a salary of $75,000. We are seeking candidates with outstanding research potential. The first year of this position, starting September 1, 2027, will be spent in Hefei, China employed with The Institute for Mathematics and Fundamental Physics (https://imfp.org.cn/research-category/division-of-mathematics/) . The following two years, starting September 1, 2028 will be spent employed with the department of Mathematics at Stony Brook University in New York. The teaching load for this position will be 1 course during your first year while you are in Hefei and 5 courses during your second two years while you are at Stony Brook University.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Applicants are required to have earned a Ph.D (or foreign equivalent) degree in Mathematics before 8/31/27.
Preferred Qualifications:
It is preferred that applicants received their Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in 2020 or later, and that their research areas compliment those of current department members.
