You can expect to: Analyze fluid and tissue samples using established laboratory techniquesPrepare and maintain media, cultures, reagents, stains, and solutionsOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipmentTrack, store, and distribute specimens for analysisSupport different phases of scientific research projectsMaintain accurate records, reports, and data using computer systemsMonitor inventory and ensure lab supplies are stocked and organizedFollow safety, quality, and compliance standards at all timesTrain and guide students, lab assistants, and junior team membersStay current by participating in trainings, workshops, and continuing education opportunities ## What Youll BringWere looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a mission-driven organization. Master's degree in a science-related field; or2. Bachelors degree in a science-related field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time laboratory experience, including six (6) months experience training or leading subordinate staff or students in the performance of assigned laboratory tasks; or3. Associates degree in a science-related field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time laboratory experience, including six (6) months experience training or leading subordinate staff or students in the performance of assigned laboratory tasks; or4. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time laboratory experience, including six (6) months experience training or leading subordinate staff or students in the performance of assigned laboratory tasks. NOTE:Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
