Job Description

CLR is seeking a contract Technical Application Analyst to provide hands-on support, technical analysis, automation, and project delivery assistance across a portfolio of enterprise business applications. This resource will help stabilize day-to-day operations, troubleshoot integrations and data issues, deliver enhancements, improve application documentation, and transfer knowledge to CLR’s internal Corporate Systems team.

The role is best suited to a technically strong analyst who can work across production support, business analysis, integrations, data investigation, testing, automation, vendor coordination, and documentation. Practical experience with Cursor, ChatGPT, generative AI, and other AI technologies is highly recommended

This is an analyst role with a strong technical emphasis. The resource should be able to investigate how applications, integrations, data, workflows, and automation work together—not simply route tickets. The contractor is expected to use modern AI-assisted tools responsibly to accelerate analysis, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.

Skills and Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in application support, business systems analysis, systems analysis, or a related discipline.

  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS, ERP, HR, legal, or similarly complex business applications.

  • Demonstrated experience with production support, requirements analysis, testing, release coordination, and vendor management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to create clear, usable technical and business documentation.

  • Strong working knowledge of integrations, APIs or file-based interfaces, scheduled jobs, data validation, logs, data mapping, and cross-system troubleshooting.

  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with SQL, scripting, automation, or comparable tools.

  • Strong Microsoft 365 and Excel skills.

  • Ability to use Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar AI technologies productively and responsibly; experience is highly recommended.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a blended support-and-project environment.

  • Experience with Workday, Workday Extend, Execute AFE, Harvey AI, Legal Tracker, Concur, Ariba/CLM, DocuSign, Enverus applications, or SAP materials/fleet processes.

  • Experience with IT service-management practices, ticketing platforms, change control, and incident/problem management.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON/XML, data reconciliation, integration monitoring, reporting, dashboards, or automation tools.

  • Experience using Cursor, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or comparable AI technologies in professional work.

  • Experience applying AI-assisted analysis with appropriate validation, security, and confidentiality controls.

  • Experience in the energy, industrial, financial, or other complex enterprise environment.

  • Experience creating support models, application inventories, knowledge bases, or transition plans.
