Full job description

Our client is seeking a Test Validation Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a customer-first mentality, strong problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Test Validation Engineer

Location: Longmont, CO

Pay Range: $45 What's the Job?

  • Perform client and enterprise system build-outs at scale, spotting opportunities to improve efficiency and documenting completed work with detailed performance logs and build procedures.

  • Manage inventory at scale for components that contribute to lab systems, ensuring the right parts are available for builds and test execution.

  • Assess the health of equipment being built and test runs being executed; proactively call out perceived issues and propose creative solutions to help the team solve its biggest problems.

  • Execute daily and weekly test cases using internal automation or vendor software, keeping results consistent and traceable.

  • Provide first-level triage of test failures by applying knowledge of the test infrastructure, NVMe and other industry specifications, and Micron internal device specifications.

What's Needed?

  • Experience and passion for client or enterprise PC components and systems, with a strong interest in experimental design and test process discipline.

  • Strong experimental design skills, including minimizing variables during retest to isolate specific fail modes.

  • Experienced Python development or equivalent interpreted language capability.

  • Working knowledge of NVMe storage protocol and comfort with Linux operating environments.

  • Technical writing ability and familiarity with OCP 2.0 or other enterprise storage specifications; prior storage experience is preferred, and overall aptitude will be considered.
