Employer: JRI America, Inc.Job Title: Vice President, Production Support Specialist Job Location: 1 North Lexington Avenue, White Plains, NY 10601Duties: Provide end-to-end production support for Java/JEE applications deployed in Azure and on-premises environments. Diagnose and resolve production incidents and software issues, ensuring timely and effective support. Perform root-cause analysis and prepare detailed incident reports. Develop and maintain documentation for supported processes, updating materials to reflect changes or enhancements. Collaborate with project teams to define and design project scope. Implement and maintain monitoring for all supported components to enable proactive alerting. Improve system capacity, performance, and 24x7 availability. Refactor and optimize existing applications to enhance performance and reliability. Generate ad hoc reports to support business requirements. Participate in incident review meetings to analyze trends and define new policies and procedures that improve application stability and reliability. Mentor and train junior team members. Partner with business teams to understand user needs and contribute to roadmaps for new processes and features.*Hybrid remote work is permitted.Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field plus 7 years of progressively responsible experience. Experience must include the following: Java; SQL; Azure; Unix; and production incident management.
