Job Summary The Power Trader is responsible for minimizing the net cost of serving WEC Energy Group retail and wholesale electric load obligations primarily through maximizing the value of the WEC Energy Group's owned and contracted generation resources while supporting reliable operations of the bulk electric system. This position requires unescorted access to certain critical cyber assets which would require applicants to satisfy all company and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standard 004 security requirements, which includes a background investigation. The Power Trader is part of a job family (Power Trader, Principal Power Trader) where experience will be the determining factor.
