Full job description
We’re building agents that buy and scale ads for consumer brands like Hims & Hers. Our agents already take over 90% of all budget decisions in the ad account. We’ve proven they can do real work, managing million-$ budgets, but that’s only one piece of the puzzle. We’re looking for a fourth product engineer to shape the future of how the largest brands grow their customer base. This role is for engineers who want to own entire parts of the product, end-to-end. You’ll talk to customers, build a deep understanding of their problems, and decide what to build yourself. What you'll do
- Own product outcomes. Engineers decide what to build. You'll have full ownership over product goals, building out the existing surface and bringing new products from 0-1.
- Ship product end-to-end. You'll work across the entire stack, designing systems, building them, and polishing the UX.
- Talk to customers. You work backwards from the customer's problem. You'll talk to them, ship, get feedback, and iterate. You can move incredibly fast: message a customer, put up the PR, and have it shipped immediately.
- Build agents. You'll work on production agents that do real, high-stakes work, managing million-$ marketing budgets. You'll build out the harness, memory, learning loops, new tools, how the agent interfaces with the user, ... ensuring we stay at the frontier of what's possible.
- Automate yourself with AI. You'll leverage coding agents for everything you do: bringing together customer context, analyzing production behavior, mocking out solutions, writing code, ...
Here are some things we're currently working on:
- Autopilot: Customers still need to review all budget changes the agent wants to make in the account. As they gained more confidence, they're now pushing us to let the agent autonomously apply decisions safely.
- Creative insights: Build tooling for our agent to understand the visuals and audio across 1000s of live ads.
- Launching ads: Enable our agent to automatically start testing an ad as soon as the creative is produced. This eliminates a bottleneck of days or even weeks.
- Creative experiments: Creative diversity is the fuel for our customers' growth. Once the agent can launch ads, it can also run experiments on the video or image format to actively find new winners.
Requirements
- 3+ years full-stack experience with relevant technologies (we work with React, Python, Postgres, and Clickhouse)
- You've had full ownership of a product in the past (e.g. by taking it from 0 to 1, or working directly with customers to shape and ship new features)
- Bonus: you've built production agents
- Bonus: you've built data-intensive products or are familiar with Clickhouse
