KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Middleware - DataPower Administration to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on administration, configuration, and domain management for KPMG's physical and virtual IBM DataPower Security Gateway appliance infrastructure
Partner with development teams to deploy and maintain DataPower services and service artifacts across production and lower environments
Manage and execute routine platform maintenance, including firmware upgrades and timely updates of security certificates and keys
Own and implement the lifecycle for Incident, Service Request, Change, and problem management processes within the DataPower service area
Work independently as the primary DataPower Administration representative on enterprise project portfolio initiatives and automation scripting development
Continuous monitoring of platform health to identify improvement opportunities and provide reliable 24x7 escalation and troubleshooting support
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of recent hands-on administration and support experience for large-scale enterprise IBM DataPower solutions
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
Minimum two years of recent experience with Python and PowerShell scripting; strong working knowledge of XML, XPath, XSLT, and GatewayScript (DataPower development experience is a strong plus)
Proven experience integrating DataPower with Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems (LDAP, AD, Okta, SAML, OAuth, SSO, Federated AAA) and managing secure network protocols (TLS Proxy, XML Firewall)
Strong understanding of Web Service standards (XML, REST) and experience configuring Multi-Protocol Gateways, Web Service Proxies, and egress policies
Exceptional verbal/written communication and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical teams and clients while managing multiple projects simultaneously
