Full job description
Maintain and organize thelounge and library to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors.Theseare the public facing spaces for the Center. Duties include: restocking, cleaning, and organization.Demonstrate a strong understanding of University of Texas policies and procedures, particularly as they relate to student services, and apply this knowledge in daily interactions.AttendmostJefferson Center events, helping with promotion, set up/clean up, and taking photographs for publicity use.Maintain the Instagram account and events page for the Center. Assist in design and advertising for student events.Keep the social media accounts up to date and active with newsletter information-design posts and flyers for events and announcements with photos taken at lectures.Assist in peer mentor program by communicating directly with the mentors about events and keeping the schedule of events up to date for the Admin.Provide support for both new and returning students, assisting with general questions, guidance through university processes, and connecting them to campus resources as needed.
