Full job description
This is sub professional nutritionist work involving federally and non-federally funded foods and nutrition program providing services to individual and families. An employee in this position provides support to the Elderly Nutrition Program under the guidance and supervision of the Program Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities: Assists in the documentation of nutrition education activities. Assists in the duplication of educational literature. Assists in conducting surveys. Assists in data collection and other duties as assigned. Contacts clients by phone to inform them of upcoming events or activities. Delivers meals to homebound clients. Maintains records of money collected, issues receipts, and makes banks deposits. Maintains records of referrals, contact log, and attendance records. Monitors congregate centers and meal preparation site. Attends in-service training. Performs other related duties as assigned.
