Job Description

Support the definition and delivery of US Real-Time Payments (RTP) product strategy by partnering with clients, technology, and cross-functional partners to shape the roadmap, prioritize enhancements, and drive product initiatives that improve client outcomes, platform performance, and commercial growth.

As a Product Management Senior Associate within the US RTP Product team, you will help shape and execute the product strategy for a scaled, high-growth payments business. You will work closely with the Head of Product, client coverage teams, and technology partners to define priorities, size opportunities, and bring new capabilities to market—spanning new use cases, cross-border expansion, and platform enhancements. This role offers the opportunity to build deep expertise in payments product management, strategic prioritization, and go-to-market execution in a business operating at significant scale.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the US RTP product roadmap, translating strategic priorities into a structured book of work.

  • Conduct market, competitive, and client research to identify new use cases, revenue opportunities, and areas for platform differentiation.

  • Partner with client coverage and sales teams to understand client needs and translate them into product requirements and business cases.

  • Define and refine product requirements, working closely with Technology to ensure feasibility and alignment with delivery plans.

  • Support pricing, commercial structuring, and revenue-growth analysis for new and existing product capabilities.

  • Analyze product performance (e.g., volume, adoption, revenue) to inform prioritization and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Support cross-functional governance forums (e.g., business committee reviews) with clear materials, data, and recommendations.

  • Help manage stakeholder alignment across Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Risk.

  • Support the development of client-facing materials for product launches, industry conferences, and internal enablement.

  • Track and report on product KPIs, escalating risks, dependencies, or performance issues with recommended actions.

  • Support end-to-end delivery oversight for select initiatives, partnering with delivery/technology teams through launch and adoption.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, strategy, business analysis, or a related field, ideally within payments or financial services.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and market insight into clear recommendations.

  • Ability to develop business cases, including revenue, cost, and risk considerations, to support prioritization decisions.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

  • Experience partnering with Technology teams to translate business strategy into product requirements and delivery plans.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing stakeholder needs in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to build clear, data-driven materials for governance and leadership audiences.

  • Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to drive initiatives forward independently and proactively surface risks.

  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and structuring problems where full information may not be available.

  • Client-oriented mindset, with the ability to translate client needs into scalable product solutions.

  • Interest in building deep expertise in real-time payments, platform economics, and regulated financial services environments.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

  • Experience in real-time payments, ACH, wires, cards, or broader transaction banking products.

  • Experience supporting product P&L management, pricing, or commercial strategy.

  • Exposure to cross-border payments, multi-rail strategy, or payments orchestration concepts.

  • Familiarity with Agile product delivery practices and working with Technology teams through the SDLC.

  • Experience preparing materials for senior governance forums or industry-facing engagements (e.g., conferences, client events).

  • Comfort with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) to support product and performance insights.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
