Alternator Finishing Technician - 1st Shift

Kelly Services, in partnership with Cummins Power Generation, is currently seeking qualified candidates for immediate openings as Alternator Finishing Technician at our Fridley, MN facility.

Position Overview:

• Job Title: Alternator Finishing Technician

• Location: Cummins Power Generation – Fridley, MN

• Shift: 1st Shift - M-F, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

• Sign-On Bonus: $500 after 30 days of employment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform engine rework using small hand tools with precision and attention to detail

• Collaborate effectively with a small team to meet department goals and production standards

• Operate Forklifts and Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) safely and efficiently as needed

• Support warehouse operations as needed, ensuring quality and safety protocols are followed

Qualifications:

• Hand on assembly/production experience of at least 1 year preferred

• Minimum six (6) months of experience operating forklifts and order pickers (current certification not required)

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks (bending, squatting, kneeling, standing, and walking)

• Comfortable working at heights within multi-level warehouse racking
