  • Help validate routing, switching, and circuit information using approved plans and network records.

  • Monitor network behavior following changes and report unexpected traffic patterns or connectivity issues.

  • Update service orders, implementation logs, and completion reports in accordance with change management procedures.

  • Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, routers, switches, and basic network connectivity. Knowledge may come from coursework, technical training, military service, internships, or employment.

  • Ability to follow technical procedures, interpret configuration instructions, document test results, and recognize when an issue requires escalation.

  • Clear written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work with customers and technical colleagues.

  • Ability to work on site at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • CCNA certification or relevant networking coursework and hands on lab experience.

  • Familiarity with VLANs, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, or wide area networks.
