Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Description

A growing professional services firm is looking for an HR Generalist to join its team in Dyersville, IA. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and wants to make an impact in a role that touches HR, payroll, employee support, and operations.

You'll work closely with employees and leadership while helping improve processes and support the company's continued growth.

What You'll Do

• Support recruiting, onboarding, employee development, and offboarding

• Manage benefits, open enrollment, employee records, and HR policies

• Serve as a resource for employee payroll, benefits, and policy questions

• Oversee payroll processes, compliance, and tax notices

• Track professional licenses and continuing education requirements

• Improve HR and operational workflows and procedures

• Assist with client onboarding and other operational initiatives

• Partner with leadership to keep priorities and projects moving forward

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in HR, payroll, operations, or a related role

• Well-rounded HR experience, including benefits and employee support

• Hands-on payroll knowledge

• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through

• Someone who is proactive, collaborative, and enjoys improving processes

Experience in professional services, multi-state payroll, QuickBooks/Intuit, or TaxDome is a plus.
