Full job description
Detention Center Civilian Controller Job Description: Civilian controllers are primarily in charge of operating the detention center facility doors and monitoring facility cameras. Controllers also look out for the safety and well-being of detention deputies as the go about their daily activities interacting with the inmates. Controllers further assist deputies with logging information and staying vigilant at all times. Controllers are put through a rigorous, on hands field training program as they train to understand the layout of the facility and keep up with the fast-paced environment of deputies and inmates all across the facility.
