Summary
Apple Maps empowers people to explore and navigate the world around them. We work on solving large-scale problems — like how to map every inch of the globe — while delivering beautiful, intuitive, and innovative experiences across billions of devices.
As Product Lead for Platform & Monetization, you'll help define and execute a product vision that extends Apple Maps beyond our app, operating at the intersection of user experience and business value. You will help lead the strategy for our developer platforms, including MapKit, while partnering with large enterprises and automakers to deliver experiences like CarPlay EV Routing and MapKit for Automotive. You will help lead Apple Maps monetization initiatives, building sustainable business value while maintaining our unwavering commitment to privacy.
This role requires close collaboration with teams across the larger Apple ecosystem including Engineering, Design, Data Operations, Marketing, PR, and Business Development, and our automotive, advertising, and developer partners.
Description
As the Apple Maps platform expands across devices, apps, and vehicles, it has become a powerful engine for sustainable monetization and business growth. We are actively defining the commercial future of our ecosystem, while partnering with developers, advertisers, and automakers to unlock new value. By thoughtfully integrating these opportunities across our ecosystem, we are driving strategic growth while keeping the user experience at the center of everything we do.
To support these ambitions, Maps must deliver flexible, performant experiences that developers and customers everywhere trust. From intelligent EV routing that integrates deeply with real-time vehicle data, to robust web and app platform capabilities, you will tackle complex technical challenges to meet the needs of our customers and partners. Apple Maps is excited to step up to these challenges and is looking for someone to help build and execute a vision for the future of our platform and ecosystem.
You'll work closely with Maps leadership to define strategy and partner with key stakeholders across Apple to bring your collective vision to life. You'll balance the needs of consumers, third-party developers, and global automakers, delivering business value without compromising the user experience. And you'll ensure that every platform feature delivers the reliability, craft, and performance people expect from Apple.
This is a hands-on role. You'll set the direction and drive execution. You'll think years ahead while shipping experiences today. And you'll ensure that our platform and partner ecosystem are a cornerstone of what makes Apple Maps exceptional.
