- Partner with R&D to prioritize and resource Cambium thermal protection-related efforts.
- Build and own strategic relationships that advance Cambium’s thermal protection products in appropriate markets.
- Build and execute the strategy that sets commercial direction for Cambium’s solid rocket motor and hypersonics products

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience in thermal protection materials as engineer or scientist
- 5+ years of commercially relevant product expertise in thermal protection materials for solid rocket motors, ablatives, and hypersonics, specifically deep technical expertise in insulator and ablative materials, thermal protection system design, or high-temperature materials fabrication and processing.
- Experience leading the development and commercial transition of novel thermal protection products.
- Demonstrated success building coordinated, collaborative, and cohesive teamwork between commercial and technical teams
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively not just with your team but across the organization, as well as with customers, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Technical field Master's or PhD degree strongly preferred.
- U.S. citizenship required. SALARY/HOURLY: $200,000 – $250,000 annually BENEFITS: Cambium offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits plan.
