Description

As the Director of Special Events, you will o versee all aspects of Child Serve branded special fundraising events including, but not limited to: Bubble Ball, Golf Fore The Kids , Employee Campaign, Sprinkles of Thanks local and regional stewardship events , and serve as the primary contact for all third-party events .

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Events Management - Plan and execute fundraising events, managing timelines, logistics, and event operations. Coordinate event marketing, sponsorship fulfillment, vendor relationships, and attendee communications. Oversee event budgets, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up to ensure a high-quality experience.

  • Donor & Sponsor Relations - Manage a portfolio of special event sponsors and fundraising partners. Cultivate donor and sponsor relationships through stewardship, engagement, and recognition efforts. Collaborate with Development leadership to secure sponsorships and maximize fundraising opportunities.

  • Database Management - Maintain accurate event , donor, sponsorship, and payment records in the foundation database. Track registrations, pledges, attendance, and event outcomes for reporting and follow-up. Serve as a backup resource for gift processing and donor receipting.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Three years of professional experience in event management, fundraising, sales, communications, or marketing and/or public relations.

  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
