Internal Communications Lead, Global Strategic Marketing (Contract) – Fully Remote

Hours: Part-time: Approximately 20 hrs/week
Contract Duration: 6 month Initial contract with possible extension up to 12 months
Role Mission
Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Lead to partner with the Global Strategic Marketing (GSM) leadership team. In this contract role, you will drive clear and consistent communication of leadership priorities, transformation initiatives, business updates, and achievement highlights. You will synthesize the GSM narrative into actionable communications across the marketing organization.
As our embedded communications partner, you will collaborate closely with GSM leaders, Change Management, and initiative teams to identify key messaging needs, recommend strategies, and develop effective communications materials. The role requires both strategic counsel and hands-on execution—ranging from leadership messaging, initiative-based communications, employee engagement, town hall support, communications planning, channel coordination, and measurement.
Ideal Candidate Profile

7+ years of experience in internal, corporate, or transformation communications, with a proven track record of independently supporting leaders in complex organizations

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously from broad or incomplete direction
-
Exceptional judgment in what, when, and how information should be communicated
-
Skilled in synthesizing activity from multiple initiatives into a clear, cohesive narrative
-
Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and executive communication capabilities
-
Comfort participating in leadership discussions and managing confidential or evolving information
-
Experience supporting organizational transformation or major business initiatives
-
Ability to develop communications plans, leadership messaging, town halls, and employee engagement activities
-
Effective project and stakeholder management skills; able to balance multiple priorities and deliver completed communications
-
Data-informed; experienced in using communications metrics and feedback to enhance effectiveness
-
Highly proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments
-
Low-ego, collaborative, and solution-oriented
Key Responsibilities

Counsel GSM leadership on internal communications strategy and execution

Develop communications plans and produce content for various channels (email, intranet, town halls, etc.)

Coordinate communications related to ongoing initiatives, business updates, and organizational transformation

Engage employees with compelling narratives and support activities designed for involvement and feedback

Measure communications impact and refine approaches using data-driven insights

Manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining high-quality deliverables
