Nurse Manager - Emergency Department

MercyOne is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Manager. In this leadership role, you will oversee nursing operations, support and develop colleagues, and help deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support nursing colleagues in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
• Oversee department operations, staffing, hiring, and performance management.
• Coach and develop team members while fostering professional growth.
• Promote quality, safety, and evidence-based nursing practice.
• Monitor operational and clinical outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve department and patient care goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional nursing standards.

Qualifications Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.

Preferred:

• Master's degree.
• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Specialty certification.
