Full job description

Description

The Department of Mathematical Sciences invites applications for two-year postdoctoral research fellowships beginning September 1, 2027. These research fellowships carry a teaching load of one course per academic semester

Applicants are expected to show exceptional research promise, as well as clear evidence of achievement, and should have research interests that intersect those of the current and incoming faculty of the department. The positions are open to all areas represented by the current and incoming faculty.

Contingent upon departmental needs, these positions have a possible extension to a third year.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in mathematics or in closely related disciplines is required.

This includes a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, list of publications, a teaching statement, and a statement describing current and planned research activities. At least three letters of reference, one of which addresses teaching, will be solicited through Mathjobs.
